2007 / Stock Jumping

fun for the overworked bankers.

Stocking Jumping, is proposed concept for visualizing the stock market.

During this time of financial crisis, Canary Wharf grows more and more melancholy through the weeks as stock tumbles and more business suits lose their jobs whilst the press escalates.

Wouldn't it be nice, if you could be informed of your news, whether it be good or bad through a more playful / tangible medium. I have designed a device, not to replace raw stock data, but to re-position itself through two visually opposing states. The horse allows you to physically ride the stock market. This acts as a more comfortable mechanism to receive the bad news, or very occasionally the good news. Either good or bad news, the ride will still be much more fun than reading stock data. But ultimetly, why not feel a slight moment of nostalgic happiness at times of uncontrollable woe.

- When the dow is up the horse tilts back
- When the dow is down the horse tips forward?

Hard times, calls for playful actions.
